I thought it would be helpful to explain how we work with our curtain makers we have on our books.

1. We offer a bespoke service throughout the UK.
2. If we partner with you, you work entirely as self-employed and create a service for Rose & Foxgloves.
3. We start by sending you a detailed outline PO order of our customer’s needs, which you quote for.
4. Quoting is usually just for a making-up service, which you provide with materials, plus courier charges back to me or directly to the client/ customer. I usually provide just the fabric and possibly trims if needed.
5. We liaise with you and the customer to find a suitable time frame for each project, and we like to make sure this is adhered to.
6. Fitting is organized by the customer as we cover the UK, as is all measurements taken.
7. Payment is made, in two installments. A down payment via your invoice before the work is started, and the balance payment via your invoice on delivery to the client/customer, or sooner if agreed. Photos of work must be sent before dispatch to Rose and Foxgloves with agreement that these can be used for our social media marketing and website. Good quality pictures are a must please, so do take time creating these.
8. We are always looking for professional, skilled people to work with us and need the following soft furnishings made regularly, Curtains, Blinds, Cushions, Bedspread, Valances, Box cushions, Headboards, and Upholstery.
9. Good communication skills are essential with prompt replies so we can get a project underway and completed in a timely fashion.
